The Education Media Alliance (EMA) was formed to support the marketing and outreach efforts of small to medium-sized independent producers of top-quality educational media. The EMA is currently a collaborative of five non-profit companies: MetaFour Productions, Lucky Cat Productions, Film Clips for Character Education, Matrix California, and The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. All Alliance members are producers with a commitment to provide teachers with exciting visual resources in order to inspire student learning.

Non-profit Film Clips for Character Education provides low-cost fully licensed short clips form popular movies with K-12 study guides that quickly engage students with issues of character and move them to action. MatrixMath uses a “game-like” movie to induce students to think carefully about important mathematical concepts.  MatrixMath includes digital movies, game-like activities, and instructional guides.  This product works well as part of an after school intervention program, in a pre-algebra classroom, or in a high school exit exam prep program.
